Dr. Steinberg works with children ages 7 and up, adolescents, and adults using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). With CBT, she specializes in anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, school anxiety, school refusal, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and general worry; mood disorders; stress management; and family and relationship issues. She also treats attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and behavioral disorders. The typical length of treatment varies, but is usually between 3 to 12 months. Treatment is goal-focused. Dr. Steinberg offers CBT consultation, training and workshops in schools on how to do CBT.
