Craig Haen, Ph.D., 510 North Broadway, White Plains, NY 10603. Craig Haen, Ph.D., is an expressive therapist in private practice in White Plains, NY. Dr. Haen works with a range of ages, including children as young as 3 through adults, in individual and family therapy. He has an integrative approach which includes drama therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and somatic therapy. Dr. Haen works with kids with anger, as well as kids who have experienced a range of trauma and loss, including, for example, a single accident followed by separation anxiety, to ongoing sexual abuse or physical abuse, as well as kids who have lost a parent and have complex bereavement, and kids with a parent that has an illness. Dr. Haen also works with kids with autism spectrum disorder; kids with self-regulation issues and angry, aggressive behaviors; and kids who are shy or quirky, with social anxiety or generalized anxiety. He works with kids who are gender-questioning, including kids who are trying to figure out gender identity and kids who are transitioning gender. Dr. Haen works with college-age young adults who have failed out of college and lack a sense of self and motivation. He works with adults who have had developmental trauma or had a parent with a personality disorder. Dr. Haen also leads a men’s cancer support group at Gilda’s Club Westchester. His private practice office hours are morning, afternoon and evening on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as every other Saturday for patients who formerly met weekly and now are being seen every other week or monthly.
