Sharron Dupler, M.D., 547 Saw Mill River Road, Suite 2C, Ardsley, NY 10502. Sharron Dupler, M.D., is a child and adult psychiatrist in private practice in Ardsley, NY. Dr. Dupler is board certified in child and adult psychiatry, and sees school-age children, teenagers, and adults for medication management and, for some, psychotherapy as well. She also shares treatment with other professionals, in which she does the medication management, and another therapist provides the psychotherapy. Dr. Dupler’s approach to psychotherapy is psychodynamic, and eclectic, in that she uses cognitive and behavioral strategies as well. She also refers people to psychotherapy with other providers who have specific skills, when that is what is needed. Dr. Dupler has a general child and adult practice, and sees people with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), adjustment disorder, and some with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Dupler is on the voluntary faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a supervisor of child psychiatry fellows. Her private practice sessions are 45 minutes; the first time she meets with someone, she has a double session, which is 1 1/2 hours. Psychotherapy sessions are once per week. Medication management alone sessions vary depending on if someone’s medication is stable, or if the medication is being adjusted. Her office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, morning through evening. Dr. Dupler is not a Medicare provider, and is not on insurance panels, except for Montecare/Monteprime, which is an insurance for Montefiore Medical Center staff.
