St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester, 275 North Street, Harrison, NY 10528. St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester, Harrison, NY, is a division of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center. St. Vincent’s Hospital is a mental health hospital with a range of inpatient and outpatient mental health services. St. Vincent’s has 138 inpatient beds spread out over a number of units. Inpatient units include an adolescent unit for ages 12 and older, which is shared with a geriatric unit; an acute psychiatric unit; general psychiatry units; and an alcohol/drug rehabilitation unit. There is an adult partial hospital and and adolescent partial hospital. Partial hospitals are 5 day a week, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., programs. There is an adolescent alcohol/substance abuse treatment program with academic tutoring by state certified teachers for those not able to attend school. Outpatient programs include specialized services for women’ s issues, dual diagnoses (mental health and alchohol/substance disorders), a clergy program, a latino/bilingual/bicultural program, a child and adolescent clinic which sees children ages 5 and older, and adult alcohol day and evening services. The inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient programs are located in different wings of the main hospital building on the campus. A primary care clinic will be opening in the building in approximately 6 weeks, staffed with family physicians, to address medical needs. In a separate, but close, building is the Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) program, an outpatient day program for people with serious mental illness. St. Vincent’s also has an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.
